Creativity at work used to be a nice-to-have. The thing you would save for special occasions. However it is now vital. As entire industries are being disrupted and efficiency tasks being taken over by machines, our ability to use the very human skill of creativity is essential.

It’s true. Creativity is becoming a vital skill in the world of work, but that does not mean that everybody is confident and capable to use it.

I have the flexibility to advise and train companies on creativity as small as 10 people and as large as 100,000 plus. 

When I first started Special Sauce I was fortunate to have Google as my first client, training hundreds of leaders across their commercial, finance, legal, HR and tech functions in one of their most demanded learning programs.

I also train entire businesses, such as as Ella’s Kitchen to keep hold of their entrepreneurial spirit as they grow. 

I have worked in over 30 countries and personally trained over 25,000 people.

    How did I get here?

    Hello I am Matt Bolton-Alarcon, founder of Special Sauce. My passion is unbottling people's full potential. 

    My creative career begin in film, tv and radio as a writer, producer and marketing director. 

    In 2005 I joined ?What If!, one of the biggest innovation consultancies in the world, now part of Accenture. I designed and rolled out large-scale training programs which gave global organisations such as Disney, Johnson&Johnson and Dyson a common process to innovate on important projects. I have also been fortunate enough to see behind the scenes of some of the world’s most innovative businesses.  

    I founded Special Sauce in 2016 as I spotted the opportunity to bring creative confidence to the masses, as a critical skill to be deployed on everyday issues.
